Please read this entire review to understand my thoughts: I purchased the viewstar pillows in queen. I must say they’re filled well, making them oversized. That left me with a problem: covering them. Standard cases squeezed them too tightly, making them hard. I ordered these after attempting other options. The Giant Pillow oversized cases fit but had a lot of room to spare around the pillows themselves. That looked sloppy, but I stuck with them. I love sateen sheets; the material is a bit stiffer, despite washing. Not my favorite feel but not a game changer since I was still lost on handling this problem. Additionally, I put pillow protectors on all my pillows; I actually used two cheap king shams under these until I found the cure: the TBM oversized pillow case in the 32x22 size. I love the feel of them. I proceeded to use the Giant Pillowcase as pillow protectors: their envelope closure made it easy to sew/cut 2” off both the shorter non open side and one long edge, making the perfect fit while still allowing the envelope closure to close over the pillow. That allowed me easy placement into the TBM cases in a neat manner. Problem solved. If you just price the material cost to create protectors it would have cost slightly more, and you basically have most of the work already done. The TBM cases are sateen, great quality and tight thread count, wash beautifully. Higher thread count 100% cotton results in better body temperature regulation. I do highly recommend these.
